Make a complaint. Track every answer.

Short questions. Dated responses. A five-day check. Your own answer to: “Was it resolved to your satisfaction?” A receipt is not a substantive answer. A proposed closure is not a final closure.

Important: This is an independently operated private browser tracker and complaint-draft builder. It does not submit a complaint to the Board, automatically send follow-up emails or publish allegations. You must submit your complaint through an official channel yourself and record when you did so. Public firm and lawyer complaint statistics are a future feature requiring verification, opt-in and a fair response process. No complaint information is sent from this page to CourtRecord.

1. Pick the firm, lawyer and issue

Choose a firm/lawyer or enter another. If already lodged, enter the original date and reference; do not create a duplicate external complaint just to track it.

2. Your records stay yours

By default, nothing is saved when you close the tab. You can export a backup at any time. Do not enter personal addresses, confidential correspondence or legal advice in the short notes.

The summary export is not an independently verified public report. CourtRecord currently has no shared complaint database. View handler and Board accountability tracking →

5. Short, numbered email—no circular answers

Produce a complaint or follow-up with clear numbered questions. The Board may have legal reasons not to disclose confidential material; ask it to identify those reasons rather than assuming a conversation occurred.

Official Board complaint form ↗

The email app option opens an unsigned draft without a prefilled addressee. Confirm the official recipient and press Send yourself. The Board's official complaint form may be the required channel.

6. Already have a reply email? Check what it says.

Paste the reply or select a plain-text email. This local preview looks for acknowledgement, informal closure, reasons and disclosure of lawyer communication. It does not decide whether an allegation is true.

No email has been checked. Email contents will not be attached to profiles or saved in your browser's complaint records.

When can complaints appear on firm or lawyer profiles?

Only after an independent publication process exists: verify submission and outcome evidence, obtain informed consent to publish an anonymised account, check the correct lawyer and firm at the time, provide an opportunity to respond, remove private or restricted information, and distinguish reported dissatisfaction from an adverse official finding.

When implemented, the public display can distinguish: Board closed, complainant satisfied; Board closed, complainant dissatisfied; still under review; and confirmed disciplinary findings. These categories must never be combined into a single accusation or a misleading win-rate-style score.
