⚖ CourtRecord WA   / Precedent consistency

Compare what lawyers argue with what courts decide.

A legal issue can recur with different parties, agreements or procedures. This tool matches the legal proposition, checks attributed representation, and shows the crucial distinction before making any comparison. It is an evidence browser, not a misconduct verdict.

Search reads curated, pinpoint-checked comparisons. It does not search every Australian judgment or infer liability automatically.

How a comparison earns its place

1. Exact propositionRecord the statutory entitlement asserted or denied. Do not match solely on case title or factual appearance.
2. Actual source and roleKeep the judgment, paragraph, court, attributed party position and lawyer/firm representation separate.
3. Distinctions and statusShow the different remedies and statutes; mark alleged positions and pending responses as unresolved.

Confidence never comes from automated word overlap alone. A human checks the underlying judgment and dated primary document. A firm's appellate appearance is not automatically a named individual solicitor's personal argument.
